Warranty Coverage

All pre-owned and new watches sold by GoldCorp include a 12-month limited warranty from the date of purchase.

This warranty covers mechanical, manufacturing, and battery-related faults that arise under normal conditions of use.

2. What the Warranty Includes

  • Mechanical or movement faults.
  • Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship.
  • Battery failure within the warranty period.
  • Complimentary repair of the covered issue by GoldCorp’s approved watchmaker.

3. What the Warranty Excludes

This warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by accidents, misuse, impact, or water ingress.
  • Normal wear and tear (scratches, fading, strap wear, etc.).
  • Damage due to unauthorized repairs, modifications, or third-party servicing.
  • Consequential or incidental losses resulting from watch failure.
  • Any item where the serial number has been altered or removed.

4. Warranty Procedure

  1. Contact info@goldcorp.co.za to log a warranty claim, including photos, proof of purchase, and a description of the issue.
  2. You will receive instructions for shipping or bringing the item for inspection.
  3. The item must be shipped fully insured and via tracked courier, at the customer’s cost.
  4. GoldCorp’s watchmaker will inspect and, if the issue is covered, perform the repair at no cost.
  5. Repairs under warranty do not extend or restart the warranty period.

5. Turnaround Time

Most warranty repairs are completed within 14–21 business days, depending on parts availability and service complexity.

Clients will be notified if additional time is required.

6. Customer Responsibility

  • Provide proof of purchase and warranty documentation.
  • Ensure the watch is properly packaged and insured for transport.
  • Collect or accept return delivery after repair completion.

7. Limitation of Liability

GoldCorp’s liability under this warranty is strictly limited to repair of the product.

No refund or replacement will be offered except where a defect cannot reasonably be repaired.

This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.

8. Governing Law

These warranty terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

All disputes shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of South African courts.
