1. Overview

GoldCorp is committed to transparency and customer confidence. Each timepiece and item we sell is thoroughly inspected and authenticated before sale. Because of the nature of luxury assets, returns are accepted only under strict conditions as outlined below.

2. Eligibility for Returns

A return may only be considered if all of the following conditions are met:

  • The item is defective or not as described.
  • The return request is submitted within 7 days of delivery or in-person collection.
  • The item is unworn, unused, and in original condition, including original packaging, tags, manuals, certificates, and any accessories.
  • The serial number and documentation must match our records.

GoldCorp reserves the right to inspect all returned items before approval.

3. Non-Returnable Items

The following are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Any item showing signs of wear, tampering, or damage after delivery.
  • Items that have been resized, engraved, or modified in any way.
  • Watches or jewellery sold as part of trade-ins, loans, consignments, or clearance sales.
  • Claims lodged after 7 days from receipt.

4. Return Process

  1. Email info@goldcorp.co.za within 7 days of delivery to request a return authorisation.

  2. If approved, you will receive shipping and packaging instructions.

  3. The item must be returned fully insured and via tracked courier at the customer’s expense.

  4. Once received, the watch will undergo inspection and verification (including serial, condition, and authenticity checks).

  5. Processing of approved refunds takes 7–10 business days from the date the item passes inspection.

5. Refund Method

  • Refunds are made via EFT to the same bank account used for the original payment once the return has been verified and approved.
  • Refunds will not be issued in cash.
  • For purchases made through online payment gateways (e.g. PayFast), GoldCorp may process the refund through the same platform where applicable, or by EFT if preferred for verification security.

6. Legal Protection

GoldCorp reserves the right to:

  • Refuse a return if an item shows signs of wear, tampering, or mismatch with the original product supplied.
  • Charge an inspection or restocking fee if a return is found to be invalid or inconsistent with this policy.
  • Reject any return shipped without prior written authorisation.

7. Shipping Liability

Customers are responsible for all shipping, insurance, and handling costs for any returned or warranty items. GoldCorp will not be liable for loss, theft, or damage that occurs during return transit. Customers are strongly advised to use a fully insured, trackable courier.

8. Discretionary Cases

GoldCorp may, at its sole discretion, allow exceptions under special circumstances. Any such allowance will not constitute a waiver or amendment to this policy.
